my little sister won WKU Miss Black & Gold. I’m super proud, but my parents are even more so. I can’t believe how crazy my Mom is getting about it all, but it’s hurts to see them so excited about her accomplishments when i know they’ve never cared about mine. I’m not saying that a pageant isn’t an accomplishment, I’m just saying it has it’s place...
